I have worked in call centers for Cigna and Florida Blue, I have hosted pop up events in Gainesville, Hawthorne, and Jacksonville to educate and answer questions, and I have met with seniors and families in their homes and my offices. The one consistent theme with every interaction I have had in this industry is this: People are frustrated and confused about health insurance. My goal is to make it as simple and clear as possible, so that my clients know they are protected.
If you would like a plan review, I am happy to sit down with you and go over your options. Schedule a call here: Calendar Link
It can be frustrating to evaluate all the options alone. That’s why I am here to help!
I first decided that I MUST become a Licensed Health Insurance Agent while working at a small medical office for a Cardio Thoracic Surgeon in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2015. Long time patients would come to the office having just renewed their insurance, only to be told that their Heart Surgeon, a doctor that had been managing their heart health for many years, was now out of network and out of reach for a senior on a fixed income. This was a failure on the part of the sales agent, for not asking about this customer’s doctors.
Over time, I received many calls from confused patients regarding their medical bills, deductibles, coinsurance and copayments. It’s no secret that the medical system in America is broken, but I felt that I could at least make an impact through helping educate individuals in my local community. I decided that I could not sit idly by while local seniors citizens and families were confused about their medical coverage. I received my 2-15 Health, Life and Annuities License on September 30, 2015, just in time to assist seniors during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP).
